Accommodation

Al Thandiwe boasts three beautiful accommodation options:
The Cliff Chat Lodge is a charming old farm house that has been renovated into 6 en suite bedrooms. Two of the rooms are family suites sleeping four. Bush Willow Camp is situated in a secluded valley and offers 6 en suite chalets with a central boma area, all overlooking a charming swimming pool. The rustic Bushbuck Tented Camp offers 4 basic tents with a separate communal bathroom. Overlooking the non-perennial river bed are the central boma and characterful firepit area.

All 3 camps offer a comfortable camp-fire seating area, overlooking the resident waterhole. A lovely way to relax whilst enjoying a sundowner after a busy day.

Cliff Chat Lodge

The Cliff Chat Lodge is a charming old farm house that has been renovated into 6 en suite bedrooms. Two of the rooms are family suites sleeping four. The lodge is fully enclosed with electric fencing, to keep the baboons and warthogs at bay. On the edge of the fence overlooked by the firepit there is a strategically positioned waterhole and salt lick, where one can watch the comings and goings of the wildlife.

Bush Willow Camp

Bush Willow camp is situated in a secluded valley approximately three and a half kilometres from Cliff Chat. The camp is exclusive and is overlooked by towering rocky mountains. There are 6 en suite chalets in a garden type setting with a central Lapa area and a sparkling turquoise swimming pool.

Bush Buck Tented Camp

Bush Buck Tented Camp is situated in one of the many Valleys to be found on Al Thandiwe. This charming rustic camp is nestled on the banks of a dry river bed embraced by the indigenous riverine forest. There are 4 comfortable tents sharing communal bathrooms. A wonderful Lapa and outdoor barbeque area sit at the heart of the camp.
